Went to the Boerne Library for a book club meeting-I always enjoy hearing others' opinions of literature and particularly enjoy the thoughts of this group. Then we had lunch at Little Gretel's 518 River Rd Boerne, TX. I had the daily special-Hungarian Goulash with spatzle and found it to be quite tasty. Grandma had the same but with what they called "Czech bread dumplings" (they turned out to be two pieces of bread with the goulash gravy over them. She liked the beef and sauce quite a bit, but was disappointed in the "dumplings" as she had a dear friend that used to make Czech dumplings and had hoped these would be similar. Lunch for both of us was under $30 including tip.
